In Horsemen, Detective Aidan Breslin (played by Dennis Quaid) is struggling to cope with the loss of his wife, who died of cancer. He finds solace in his work, investigating a series of brutal murders that seem to be inspired by the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
As he delves deeper into the case, Aidan begins to uncover a disturbing connection between himself and the perpetrators. He realizes that they are targeting not only their victims but also their families, with the aim of enacting a twisted form of justice.
As the body count rises, Aidan races against time to catch the killers before they strike again. But as he gets closer to the truth, he also realizes that the past events in his life may be playing a part in the present danger.
Horsemen is a dark and gripping thriller that explores themes of grief, vengeance, and the human condition. It features a talented cast that includes Ziyi Zhang, Lou Taylor Pucci, and Patrick Fugit, and is directed by Swedish filmmaker Jonas Ã…kerlund.
