Horse Sense is a 1999 Disney Channel Original Movie starring Joey Lawrence and Andrew Lawrence. Michael Woods, a spoiled and selfish young man, lives the high life in Los Angeles. His parents are wealthy and he spends his days partying and living a lavish lifestyle. His cousin Tommy, on the other hand, is a hardworking rancher with a struggling ranch in Montana.
Michael's parents decide to teach him a lesson and send him to the ranch to work for a month with Tommy and his aunt, Jules. Michael is at first resistant, but eventually begins to understand the value of hard work and the importance of family. He quickly learns that life on the ranch is not easy, and he struggles with his new responsibilities.
Tommy is initially hostile towards Michael, but the two eventually bond over their shared love of horses. Michael learns to ride and care for the horses, and finds a new sense of purpose in life. He also gets to know Jules, who teaches him about the importance of family and the value of hard work.
As the month draws to a close, Michael realizes that he has grown closer to his cousin and aunt, and has developed a newfound respect for them and their way of life. He returns to Los Angeles a changed person, determined to apply the lessons he learned on the ranch to his own life.
