Horse Feathers is a classic 1932 comedy film directed by Norman Z. McLeod and starring the Marx Brothers. The film follows the story of Quincy Adams Wagstaff, who becomes the new president of Huxley University. Despite his lack of experience in academia, he decides to revamp the college by focusing on sports and getting the football team up to par.
To help him achieve this goal, he hires two professional schemers named Baravelli and Pinky, played by Chico and Harpo Marx, to infiltrate rival team Darwin University and steal their star players.
As the big football game approaches, chaos and hilarity ensue as Baravelli and Pinky try to outsmart the other team's coach and players. Meanwhile, Wagstaff's daughter, played by actress and singer Thelma Todd, forms a romantic interest with the star player of the Huxley team.
The film is known for its wacky humor, zany musical numbers, and the Marx Brothers' signature slapstick comedy. It was a box-office success upon its release and has since become a beloved classic in the genre of screwball comedies.
