Horror Hospital is a 1973 British horror-comedy film directed by Antony Balch and starring Robin Askwith and Vanessa Shaw. The film follows the story of a former musician, Jason (played by Askwith), who goes to a health farm called Brittlehouse Manor run by a former Nazi scientist, Dr. Storm (played by Michael Gough). Along the way, he meets a young woman named Judy (played by Shaw), who is also headed to the same destination to visit her aunt.
Once Jason and Judy arrive at Brittlehouse Manor, they realize that something is not right. The guests at the health farm seem to have undergone some kind of experimental surgery in which their brains have been removed. The guests also appear to be under a strange hypnotic influence, and there is blood pouring from the sink.
As the story progresses, Jason and Judy find themselves in a life-threatening situation, and they have to find a way to escape from the health farm before it's too late. Along the way, they are aided by a dwarf named Frederick (played by Skip Martin), who tells them to brush their teeth and seems to have some kind of hidden agenda.
Horror Hospital received mixed reviews upon release. Some critics praised the film's satirical take on the health and wellness industry, while others criticized its disjointed plot and lack of coherence. Nonetheless, Horror Hospital has since become a cult classic among horror movie fans.
