The young man's name is Ig Perrish, played by Daniel Radcliffe. After his girlfriend's death and being the prime suspect, Ig wakes up one morning to find he's grown horns, which come with the ability to make people confess their sins and desires. He uses this to his advantage to find out the truth about his girlfriend's death and clear his name. As he delves deeper into the mystery, he also discovers the dark secrets of his small town, including those of his own family and friends. The movie is based on the novel of the same name by Joe Hill.
