Hope Springs is a 2012 American romantic dramedy film directed by David Frankel and stars Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones. The story focuses on Kay and Arnold, a middle-aged couple who, after thirty years of marriage, have settled into a mundane and routine life.
