After breaking off her engagement, Eve Parker (played by Nicollette Sheridan) decides to take the honeymoon she had planned in Ireland by herself. Upon arriving at the breathtaking castle estate, she is greeted by a friendly staff and charming owner, local Irishman Sean (played by Greg Wise).
Despite feeling out of place and alone, Eve begins to enjoy the quiet and beautiful surroundings of the castle. She also meets a group of American tourists, including an outspoken widow named Breda (played by Patrick Bergin), who helps Eve come out of her shell and explore the local Irish culture.
As Eve and Sean spend more time together, they develop a deeper connection despite their different backgrounds and lifestyles. However, when Eve's ex-fiancé shows up at the castle, it threatens to ruin everything she has built with Sean and the new life she has created for herself.
