The movie Homebody revolves around Johnny, a mischievous nine-year-old boy who has a secret ability to send his spirit into other people's bodies. One day, Johnny's parents go out for the night and entrust him to their usual babysitter, Melanie.
As soon as Melanie arrives, Johnny sends his spirit into her body, taking over her physical form. With the newfound freedom of living in a woman's body, Johnny embarks on all sorts of adventures throughout the night, trying on different outfits, dancing and singing, and learning how to apply makeup.
Things start to get complicated when Johnny's parents come home unexpectedly, and he's unable to get back into his own body. With the help of Melanie, who has been communicating with Johnny's spirit throughout the night, they embark on a wild and hilarious journey to get Johnny back into his own body before it's too late.
Throughout the film, Homebody explores themes of self-discovery, identity, and the importance of embracing who you truly are. It's a heartwarming and uplifting story that the whole family can enjoy.
