Julia and Tom have been together for five years, and they decide to have a romantic dinner at home to celebrate their anniversary. Julia works hard all day to prepare the perfect meal and decorates the table with candles and flowers. Tom arrives home with a bottle of champagne, ready to surprise Julia with an engagement ring.
However, their perfect evening takes a turn when a fly joins them. The fly's buzzing and persistent presence begins to annoy both Julia and Tom, and their attempts to shoo it away only make things worse. They become increasingly frustrated with each other, and their peaceful night turns into a series of arguments.
As the night progresses, the fly becomes a symbol of their unresolved issues and fears about their future together. As they continue to bicker and fight, they begin to realize that their perfect relationship is not so perfect after all.
