Jake and Jan are both struggling to make ends meet as they try to navigate life as college students in a challenging economic climate. They live in a run-down apartment complex owned by George, their landlord and angel investor. One day, George presents them with a lucrative business opportunity that seems too good to be true. He asks them to invest in his latest venture, promising big returns.
Jake and Jan eagerly agree to invest all their remaining savings into the venture, hoping to get rich quick and pay off their debts. However, things take a turn for the worse when the deal falls apart due to a series of unfortunate events beyond their control. They lose all their money and are now even further in debt.
Frustrated and desperate, Jake and Jan hatch a plan to eliminate George and collect his life insurance policy payout. They start planning and executing their plan, but despite several attempts, they are unable to successfully take out their target.
As the situation escalates, the couple goes on the run with George in hot pursuit. They find themselves in a bleak situation, with their hopes pinned on escaping George's wrath and collecting the money they need to start their lives anew.
However, they soon realize that their problems are far from over. As the chase continues, Jake and Jan are forced to confront the consequences of their actions, and they soon realize that their plan was flawed from the start. Will they be able to make it out alive, or will they pay the ultimate price for their greed and desperation?
