The event planner is named Loretta and she has always dreamed of making it big in the city. When she is given a chance to plan a massive event for a wealthy socialite, she can't pass it up. However, her boss tells her that in order to get the job, she needs to prove that she can handle a more low-key event first.
Loretta decides to return to her hometown in Texas to plan a spring retreat for a local bed and breakfast. As she works on the event, she reconnects with her family and the man she left behind, a handsome cowboy named Wayne.
Despite her initial reluctance to be back in her small hometown, Loretta begins to see the charm of the place and starts to fall back in love with Wayne. As the retreat approaches, Loretta realizes that she has been living her life for her career and not for herself.
In the end, Loretta decides to stay in Texas and start a new life with Wayne. She also realizes that her passion for event planning can be fulfilled right there in her hometown, and she starts her own event planning business there.
