Holy Rollers is a 2010 crime drama film based on the true story of a group of Hasidic Jews who become involved in drug trafficking. The film follows Sam Gold (Jesse Eisenberg), a young Hasidic man living in Brooklyn who is recruited by his neighbor Yosef (Justin Bartha) to become a drug mule and smuggle ecstasy pills from Amsterdam into the United States.

Initially hesitant, Sam is swayed by the promise of wealth and a chance to impress his father, a rabbi who struggles to make ends meet. With Yosef as his mentor, Sam becomes immersed in the world of drug trafficking, learning how to conceal drugs in religious artifacts and convincing his Hasidic friends to join in on the scheme.

As the group becomes more successful, Sam starts to question the morality of his actions and the effect they are having on his community. He also faces the threat of being caught by law enforcement, who are closing in on the drug operation.

The film explores themes of faith, morality, and the clash between traditional values and modern temptations. It received positive reviews for its performances, particularly Eisenberg's portrayal of Sam, and its depiction of a little-known aspect of Hasidic culture.
