The Hobo is played by actor Rutger Hauer, who delivers a powerful, gripping performance as a man pushed to his breaking point. With nothing left to lose, he takes to the streets armed with a shotgun and a thirst for justice.

The city he finds himself in is a grim, dystopian nightmare where every corner seems to hold new dangers. The corrupt police force is in the pocket of the ruthless crime boss known only as The Drake (played by Brian Downey), whose iron grip on the city is absolute. The Drake's criminals are a motley crew of psychotic freaks including his own sons Ivan and Slick, a stripper with a heart of gold named Abby, and an army of masked killers known as The Plague.

The Hobo's mission is simple: to take down The Drake and his cronies and restore some semblance of order to the city. Along the way, he befriends Abby (played by Molly Dunsworth) and helps her get out of the strip club business, saves a group of innocent schoolchildren from The Plague and dispenses brutal vigilante justice to anyone who dares to cross him.

Hobo with a Shotgun is a violent, bloody, over-the-top exploitation film that revels in its own insanity. It's not for the faint of heart, but it's impossible to look away from Hauer's mesmerizing performance as the titular hobo. The film was directed by Jason Eisener and written by John Davies, based on a fake trailer that was created as part of a Grindhouse contest. Despite its low budget and intentionally cheesy aesthetic, Hobo with a Shotgun delivers an unforgettable, pulpy experience that will leave you gasping for breath.
