In Hired to Kill, the fashion photographer, Frank Ryan, is actually a former mercenary who is hired by the CIA to lead a team of seven female assassins to rescue a rebel leader, Vicente Ribiero, who has been imprisoned on a remote South American island fortress. The team of models, who also happen to be skilled fighters, are brought in as a cover for their true mission.
Once they arrive on the island, they begin to execute their plan, but quickly realize that things are much more complicated than they expected. Not only do they have to contend with the heavily armed guards stationed around the fortress, they also discover that Vicente Ribiero is not exactly the heroic figure they thought he was. As they dig deeper, they begin to unravel a web of deceit and corruption that extends all the way to the top levels of the U.S. government.
As the team fights to complete their mission and bring Vicente Ribiero to safety, they must also grapple with their own personal demons and trust issues. Along the way, they form a bond that will be tested to the limit in their final showdown with the enemy.
