Highlander: The Search for Vengeance is a 2007 animated film directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri and produced by Madhouse Studio. It is the fourth installment in the Highlander franchise and was released direct-to-video.
The film features Colin MacLeod, who seeks revenge against the immortal Marcus Octavius for the murder of his lover, Moya. Colin's journey takes him across centuries and continents, as he chases Marcus from ancient China to modern day New York City.
Along the way, Colin meets a young woman named Dahlia who reminds him of Moya. Despite his initial reluctance to get close to anyone again, he forms a bond with Dahlia, who joins him in his quest for vengeance.
As Colin gets closer to Marcus, he learns that the immortal has a sinister plan that could threaten the entire world. The two engage in a final battle that will determine the fate of all humanity.
The film features the voice talents of Alistair Abell as Colin, Marcus, and the narration, as well as Maggie Blue O'Hara as Dahlia. The animation style is reminiscent of classic anime films and features impressive action sequences and stunning visuals.
