High on the Hog is a crime-drama film that follows the story of two DTA agents, Wayne and Brick, who are assigned to infiltrate a small-town farming operation in Northern California. The farm is believed to be cultivating a potent strain of marijuana called "The Emerald Triangle," which is causing a massive epidemic of drug addiction and overdoses in the city.

The leader of the farm is a woman called "Queenie," who is known for her tough and unpredictable personality. Queenie's family members are also involved in the farming operation, including her son, Junior, who is a skilled cultivator, and her daughter, Nikki, who is struggling with addiction.

As Wayne and Brick begin to gather intelligence on the farm, they become immersed in the close-knit community and start to empathize with Queenie and her family. However, as they get closer to discovering the truth about the strain of marijuana being cultivated, they face numerous challenges, including threats from local drug dealers, violent confrontations with Queenie's family members, and pressure from their superiors to bring down the operation.

Despite the risks, Wayne and Brick remain committed to their mission, determined to halt the spread of the dangerous drug and bring the responsible parties to justice. Along the way, they also learn valuable lessons about loyalty, family, and the consequences of addiction.
