Hibiki Suzuhara, a high school student, has an extraordinary talent for writing, which is discovered by an established novelist named Shunpei Kurosaki. Kurosaki is impressed by her raw talent and decides to take her under his wing as his protege. However, Hibiki's life takes an unexpected turn when she is tasked with writing a novel within a month as part of a contest.
Despite her lack of experience and the tough deadline, Hibiki puts her heart and soul into the writing process. Her talent for writing starts to attract attention, both from her peers and from the media. Her classmates start to view her differently, and she becomes the talk of the school.
As her deadline draws closer, Hibiki's stress levels increase, and her friendship with her best friend, Sasaki, is put to the test. She also develops feelings for a fellow classmate, a boy named Takeshi who sees her as more than just a talented writer.
The film explores the pressures that come with being a young prodigy and the sacrifices that are often necessary to achieve success.
