In the movie He's All That, the influencer in question is named Padgett Sawyer and she is known for her perfect social media image. One day, her longtime boyfriend breaks up with her via live stream, causing Padgett to become a laughingstock on the internet.
Determined to regain her status, Padgett takes on a bet from her friend to transform Cameron Kweller, the school's biggest loser, into Prom King. Cameron is a loner who spends his time making art and working at his family's gas station.
Padgett sets out to make over Cameron's appearance and popularity by giving him a new wardrobe, haircut, and social media presence. As she and Cameron spend more time together, Padgett begins to realize that there is more to him than meets the eye.
Along the way, Padgett tries to juggle her own personal life and struggles with her mother's remarriage, while facing backlash from her former boyfriend and his new girlfriend.
