Herself is a powerful drama film that tells the story of Sandra (Clare Dunne), a single mother of two young daughters living in Dublin, Ireland. She is trapped in an abusive relationship with her ex-partner, Gary (Ian Lloyd Anderson), who constantly threatens and humiliates her. After a violent altercation, Sandra and her daughters are forced to leave their home and move into a cramped motel room.

Desperately seeking a better life for her family, Sandra comes up with an audacious plan. She decides to build her own home, from scratch, using the resources and support of her local community. With help from a group of friends and volunteers, Sandra spends months working tirelessly on the construction of her dream house, overcoming countless obstacles and setbacks along the way.

As she slowly builds her new home, Sandra begins to rebuild herself. She gains confidence and independence, and begins to heal from the trauma of her past. However, her journey is not without challenges - Gary remains a constant threat, and Sandra must navigate the legal system and her own fears in order to protect herself and her daughters.

Herself is a moving and inspiring story about the power of community, resilience, and determination.
