Heropanti is a Bollywood romantic action film directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film features debutantes Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles.
The movie is set in a small town called Devgarh, where the residents are ruled by powerful landlords and gangsters. Bablu (Tiger Shroff) is the son of one such landlord, while Dimpy (Kriti Sanon) is the daughter of another. Despite their opposing backgrounds, Bablu and Dimpy fall in love.
However, their love is not accepted by the conservative society around them, and they face opposition from their families and the local goons. In the midst of all this, Bablu also discovers a dark secret about his family that threatens to tear them apart.
The movie revolves around how Bablu and Dimpy fight against all odds to be together and take on the powerful forces that rule their town. An action-packed climax leaves the audience on the edge of their seats as the couple tries to escape the wrath of the villains.
Heropanti marked the debut of Tiger Shroff, who impressed everyone with his dancing skills and action sequences. Kriti Sanon, too, made a strong impression with her performance. Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, the movie was a commercial success and earned a nomination for Best Debut at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.
