Herd follows the story of Anna, a young woman who is on the run from her past. She finds herself in the middle of a zombie outbreak and joins a group of survivors who are trying to find safety. However, Anna quickly discovers that not all survivors have the same goals. Two militia groups are fighting for control of the area, and they are willing to do whatever it takes to come out on top. Anna becomes trapped between the warring factions and must figure out how to survive in a world where the living can be just as dangerous as the dead. As the situation grows more dire, Anna realizes that she will have to confront her past in order to have any hope of a future.
