Hello I Must Be Going is a 2012 romantic comedy-drama film directed by Todd Louiso. The film follows 35-year-old Amy Minsky, a recently divorced woman who moves back in with her parents in Connecticut after her marriage falls apart. Feeling directionless and struggling to find her place in the world, she finds herself in a rut.
Despite the best intentions of her mother, Ruth, and her father, Stan, Amy can't seem to shake the feeling of being stuck. She spends her days in sweats, watching TV and trying to figure out where her life went wrong. Her parents try to be supportive, but they can't help but pick at her flaws and try to push her towards something more.
One day, while attending a dinner party with her parents, Amy meets a precocious 19-year-old named Jeremy, who is visiting his parents for the summer. Despite the age difference and the awkwardness of the situation, the two hit it off and embark on a passionate, complicated relationship that forces Amy to confront her feelings about herself and her life.
As Amy begins to come out of her shell and take control of her life, she finds herself on a journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance. She learns to let go of the past and embrace the possibilities of the present, all while navigating the complexities of a romance that could change everything.
