The father of Josie is a scientist who has been secretly working on the magic crystal for years, after losing his daughter to the motorcycle gang. He is determined to bring her back to life and has succeeded in doing so, but with a catch. Josie cannot survive without feeding on the life force of young men.
The four students, who are on a hiking trip in the nearby mountains, stumble upon the small town of Hellgate and are intrigued by the local legend. They begin to investigate the story and soon discover the truth behind Josie's resurrection.
As they delve deeper into the mystery, they find themselves in grave danger from both the supernatural forces at play and the townspeople, who will stop at nothing to protect their secrets.
The students must use all their wits and courage to unravel the dark mystery and stop Josie from claiming any more victims. However, as they race against time, they realize that their own lives may be in danger as well.
In the end, the students must face off against the undead Josie and her army of zombie-like creatures, as well as her vengeful father, in a final, epic battle for survival.
