Hellbound: Hellraiser II is a 1988 horror film and a sequel to the 1987 film Hellraiser. The movie starts where the first one ended, with Kirsty (Ashley Laurence) in a psychiatric hospital after encountering the Cenobites. Dr. Channard (Kenneth Cranham), a mad doctor obsessed with the Cenobites, becomes Kirsty's therapist. Kirsty warns Channard about the dangers of the Cenobites, but he disregards her and opens a gateway to Hell.

As the portal to Hell opens, a group of Cenobites led by Pinhead (Doug Bradley) emerge and start to wreak havoc on everyone in their path. Kirsty, who has a personal vendetta against the Cenobites, follows Channard and his team into this terrifying dimension, hoping to save her father and stop the Cenobites once and for all. However, she soon realizes that she is not alone, as there are other victims trapped in Hell who are fighting to survive and escape its gruesome fate.

Throughout the movie, there are flashbacks, revealing more about the origin of the Cenobites and their leader, Pinhead. Kirsty also discovers a secret about her own past that puts her on a collision course with the Cenobites and their diabolical plan. The film explores the themes of desire, power, and the consequences of obsession, as characters are pushed to their limits in their quest for pleasure and control. The movie ends with a startling revelation that sets the stage for further sequels in the franchise.
