Hell on the Border is set in the late 1800s and follows the story of Bass Reeves, a former slave who becomes the first black U.S. Marshal. The movie starts with Reeves escaping slavery and making his way to Arkansas, where he is hired as a laborer by a judge and eventually becomes a lawman.
Reeves' first mission as a marshal is to capture the notorious outlaw Bob Dozier, who has been terrorizing the Indian Territory. He is aided in his mission by a former Confederate soldier and experienced tracker named Charlie Storm. Despite facing discrimination from both the white lawmen and the Native American tribes, Reeves and Storm embark on a dangerous journey to capture Dozier and bring him to justice.
The movie is filled with thrilling action sequences, from gunfights and chases to tense confrontations with criminals and hostile tribes. Along the way, Reeves also has to confront his own demons, including the trauma of his past and the discrimination he faces as a black man in a white man's world.
