Heartlock is a drama film that centers around a male prisoner named Lee, who is serving a lengthy sentence for his involvement in a robbery. Lee is a skilled con artist who befriends the new female guard, Claire, assigned to oversee his unit. Over time, Lee and Claire form a close connection that borders on romance.
However, Lee's focus on manipulating people to get what he wants is tested when he learns that the warden plans to transfer Claire to another prison. Realizing he may lose the one person he cares for in prison, Lee decides to take matters into his own hands. He convinces another inmate, a hacker named A.J., to help him plan a heist to steal the warden's private file containing Claire's transfer orders.
As the plan unfolds, tensions rise amongst the inmates, and Lee struggles to keep the truth from escaping, knowing it may jeopardize the heist and his relationship with Claire. Ultimately, Lee must choose between his loyalty to his fellow inmates and the possibility of a future with Claire.
