Hate Story 2 is a Bollywood thriller film released in 2014. It stars Surveen Chawla, Jay Bhanushali, and Sushant Singh in lead roles. The film is directed by Vishal Pandya and produced by Vikram Bhatt.
The film's plot revolves around a young photographer named Sonika (Surveen Chawla), who is in a live-in relationship with her boyfriend Akshay (Jay Bhanushali). However, their peaceful life is disrupted when Sonika is blackmailed by a powerful Hindu right-wing politician named Mandar Mhatre (Sushant Singh). Mandar wants Sonika to sleep with him in exchange for some compromising pictures of her with Akshay.
Sonika refuses and decides to take revenge on Mandar. She uses her intellect and guile to play games with the politician. She seduces Mandar and tricks him into revealing his secrets. She then uses the information to take down the politician and expose his corruption and criminal activities.
Hate Story 2 received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. However, Surveen Chawla's performance was praised for her portrayal of a strong and intelligent woman seeking revenge. The film was commercially successful and spawned a sequel, Hate Story 3, in 2015.
