Sure! In the movie Hatching Pete, Pete Ivey struggles with being overlooked and overshadowed by his charismatic best friend, Cleatus. When Cleatus has an allergic reaction while wearing the school mascot costume, Pete reluctantly agrees to take his place.
As Pete dons the chicken suit and becomes the Brewster High chicken, he finds a newfound confidence and enjoys the attention he receives while disguised. However, complications arise when Angela, the girl Pete has a crush on, becomes enamored with the mysterious chicken mascot instead of Pete himself.
As the school basketball team starts winning games thanks to Pete's energetic mascot performances, Pete is faced with the dilemma of revealing his true identity and risking rejection from his classmates, including Angela. Ultimately, Pete must decide whether it's worth it to step out from behind the mask and show everyone who he really is. Along the way, he learns valuable lessons about self-acceptance, friendship, and the importance of being true to oneself.
