Hatchet III is a horror film that follows Marybeth (played by Danielle Harris) as she teams up with a search and recovery team to navigate the haunted swamp and put an end to the curse of Victor Crowley, a voodoo spirit who has been terrorizing the Honey Island Swamp for decades.
As the team makes their way deeper into the swamp, they are confronted by the gruesome reality of Crowley's reign of terror. The bodies of his victims are strewn about, and the team begins to realize the horrific power he possesses.
