Hatchet II is a 2010 American slasher film and sequel to the 2006 horror film Hatchet. The movie stars Danielle Harris, who replaces Tamara Feldman as the lead actress, and Kane Hodder, who reprises his role as Victor Crowley.
The film starts with Marybeth (Danielle Harris) escaping from Victor Crowley (Kane Hodder) after the events of the previous movie. She is rescued by a passing boat, and taken to the hospital where she discovers that her family members were killed by Crowley.
Marybeth then meets Reverend Zombie, who tells her about Crowley's backstory and his connection to her family. He also reveals that he has hired a group of hunters to kill Crowley, and offers Marybeth a chance to join them.
Marybeth and the hunters venture into the swamp to retrieve the bodies of her family and kill Crowley. However, their mission becomes more complicated when one of the hunters accidentally kills Crowley's father, leading to a series of brutal kills and intense confrontations between the hunters and Crowley.
Despite suffering injuries and losses along the way, Marybeth and the hunters eventually succeed in killing Crowley. However, the movie ends with a twist that hints at the possibility of Victor Crowley returning in future movies.
Hatchet II was directed by Adam Green, who also directed the first movie. The film received mixed reviews from critics, with some praising the film's gore and humor, while others criticized it for being too similar to the first movie.
