Hashima Project

Horror  Thailand

Hashima Island, also known as Battleship Island due to its shape, is a real-life abandoned island located off the coast of Nagasaki, Japan. The island was once a bustling coal-mining town that reached its peak population in 1959 with over 5,000 residents. However, by 1974, the coal reserves had depleted, and the mines were closed, leading to a mass exodus of the island's inhabitants.

In the movie Hashima Project, a group of five teenagers decides to visit the abandoned island in hopes of capturing evidence of paranormal activity. The group consists of a videographer, a sound designer, a historian, a psychic, and an explorer. They board a small boat and make their way to the island, where they sneak past security and start their exploration.

As they venture deeper into the island, strange events begin to occur. They hear eerie noises and see ghostly apparitions, which they document on camera. The psychic begins to sense an evil presence on the island, and the group starts to feel trapped. They soon realize that the island is not just abandoned but cursed.

As the night progresses, the group experiences unexplainable events, leading to a fight for survival. They struggle to escape the island while being hunted by the malevolent presence that lingers there. The truth behind the island's dark past is eventually revealed through the lens of the camera, but it may be too late for the group to make it out alive.

Hashima Project is a horror movie that relies heavily on jump scares, suspenseful music, and found footage-style cinematography to create an atmosphere of fear and tension. The movie highlights the island's eerie history and urban legend of ghost stories, making it a must-watch for horror fans who love exploring the unknown.
