Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the fourth installment in the Harry Potter film series based on the novel of the same name by J.K. Rowling. The movie follows Harry as he returns to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry after a summer spent with the Dursleys. During the Welcoming Feast, Dumbledore announces that Hogwarts will host the Triwizard Tournament, a dangerous competition between three wizarding schools in which a champion is chosen to compete in three different tasks.

Despite being underage, Harry finds himself mysteriously entered into the tournament as the fourth champion, alongside Cedric Diggory from Hogwarts, Fleur Delacour from Beauxbatons Academy, and Viktor Krum from Durmstrang Institute. The tasks prove to be treacherous, with Harry facing dragons, underwater challenges, and a maze filled with deadly creatures.

Amidst all of this, Harry also deals with the return of Lord Voldemort, who was thought to be dead. As Harry struggles to uncover the truth behind his involvement in the tournament and Voldemort's return, he also faces personal challenges and relationships, including his ongoing feud with Slytherin student Draco Malfoy and his feelings for his best friend's sister, Ginny Weasley.

In the end, Harry discovers that the real mastermind behind his participation in the tournament was none other than Barty Crouch Jr., a Death Eater disguised as Professor Moody. With the help of his friends, Harry is able to overcome the challenges of the tournament and thwart Voldemort's plan to regain his full power. However, the final showdown with Voldemort is yet to come, setting the stage for the remaining movies in the series.
