Harriet the Spy: Blog Wars is a 2010 Disney Channel Original Movie adapted from the beloved children's book Harriet the Spy by Louise Fitzhugh.
The movie follows 11-year-old Harriet, who dreams of being a spy and writes down everything she observes in her trusty notebook. When her classmates discover her notebook and read some of her less-than-kind observations, Harriet becomes an outcast at school.
In an effort to redeem herself and win back her classmates' respect, Harriet enters a blogging competition to become the official blogger of her high school class. However, she faces stiff competition from popular student Marion Hawthorne, who also wants the job.
Throughout the movie, Harriet navigates the treacherous world of middle school popularity contests and learns important lessons about friendship, honesty, and staying true to oneself. With the help of her friends and her trusty spy skills, Harriet ultimately wins the competition and comes out on top.
The film stars Jennifer Stone as Harriet and Kristin Booth as Marion, and features appearances from Doug Murray, Melinda Shankar, and Wesley Morgan.
