Harlem Nights is a 1989 American crime comedy film starring Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, and Redd Foxx. The film is set in 1938 and follows the story of "Sugar" Ray (played by Richard Pryor) who owns a popular nightclub in Harlem, New York City, which serves as a front for his illicit activities.
