The otaku manicurist, named Maki, spends most of her time obsessing over anime and video games, causing her to struggle with social interaction. However, she decides to give love a chance and signs up for a matchmaking site.
Meanwhile, the ordinary office lady, named Yui, has been single for years and is starting to feel the pressure from her family to settle down. She also signs up for the same matchmaking site, hoping to find her perfect match.
The doctor, named Takashi, is a successful professional with a successful career yet he has never been in love. Feeling lonely, he too signs up for the matchmaking site in hopes of meeting someone special.
Lastly, the 30-something idol fan, named Taeko, is still living in the past, where she idolizes a boy-band from her youth. Despite her age, she is still deeply infatuated with the group and has never been interested in anyone else. One day, she decides to join the matchmaking site to try and find her true love.
As they all individually navigate through the online dating world, their paths eventually cross and they begin to interact. After several miscommunications and misunderstandings, they realize they have more in common than they first thought and form an unlikely bond. Through their shared experiences, they learn about love, friendship, and the importance of taking risks.
