Happy Feet is a 2006 animated musical comedy-drama film directed by George Miller. It tells the story of a young Emperor Penguin named Mumble who has a unique talent: he can tap dance. However, in his world, singing is the only way to find a mate, so Mumble is considered an outcast and is ostracized by his fellow penguins.

As he tries to find his place in the group and search for his soul mate, Mumble embarks on a journey to discover the root of the shrinking fish population that is affecting their community. Along the way, he meets a group of rockhopper penguins, who teach him about individuality and the importance of being true to oneself.

The film features a star-studded voice cast, including Elijah Wood as Mumble, Robin Williams as Ramon and Lovelace, Nicole Kidman as Norma Jean, and Hugh Jackman as Memphis. The soundtrack includes a mix of original songs and covers, featuring artists such as Prince, Pink, and Queen.

Happy Feet received generally positive reviews and won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature in 2007. The film's message about accepting differences and following your own path resonated with audiences of all ages. Its success led to a sequel, Happy Feet Two, released in 2011.
