Comedy  N/A

The movie Happy Ever After is a 1954 British comedy film directed by Mario Zampi and starring David Niven, Yvonne De Carlo, Barry Fitzgerald, and George Cole. The film revolves around the eccentric residents of a small Irish village who unite in their efforts to drive out the new owner of a local hunting estate.

After the accidental death of General O'Leary, his nephew Jasper inherits the estate and becomes unpopular with the villagers due to his arrogant and obnoxious behavior. However, the only person who seems to be enchanted by Jasper is the conniving and seductive Serena McGluskey, who has her own ulterior motives.

Led by Thady O'Heggarty, the villagers plot to get rid of Jasper and restore order to their community. They decide to use the annual "O'Leary Night" event, during which the ghost of the first O'Leary is said to haunt the halls of the O'Leary estate, to create chaos and confusion.

As Jasper and Serena host the event, the villagers sneak into the estate and carry out their plan of dressing up as the ghost of O'Leary and causing mayhem. However, things don't go according to plan, and the situation quickly turns into a hilarious and chaotic series of mishaps and misunderstandings.

In the end, the villagers succeed in driving out Jasper and restoring peace to their community. The film is a light-hearted and entertaining satire on the class divisions and power struggles in rural Irish society.
