The movie Hangman follows detective Will Ruiney (played by Al Pacino) and criminal profiler Christi Davies (played by Karl Urban) as they work together to catch a serial killer who is terrorizing the city of Atlanta. The killer is known as the Hangman because he leaves his victims hanging from a tree with a letter carved into their skin.
The killer's next target is Judge Shaw, a prominent member of the community, and Will and Christi race against time to stop the Hangman before he strikes again. Along the way, they are joined by a local journalist, Christi's ex-husband, who is investigating the case and providing updates to the community.
As they delve deeper into the Hangman's twisted game, they begin to uncover a web of secrets and lies that lead them to suspect that the killer may be closer than they ever imagined. As the body count rises, Will and Christi must use all of their skills and expertise to solve the case before it's too late.
