Hands of a Gunfighter

The movie Hands of a Gunfighter is a Western drama that follows the story of Frank Talby, a former gunfighter who decides to retire and settle into a peaceful life with his son. However, his world is turned upside down when the Carter / Castle brothers, a group of outlaws, shoot and kill his closest friends. Moreover, the town authorities threaten to separate Frank from his son, citing his violent past as a gunfighter.

Determined to bring justice to his friends and protect his son, Frank picks up his gun once again and sets out on a mission of vengeance. Along the way, he forms an uneasy alliance with a young and inexperienced sheriff, whom he agrees to help in exchange for protection for his son.

As Frank confronts the Carter / Castle brothers and their ruthless leader, he becomes increasingly consumed with revenge, putting his own life and that of his son in danger. However, with the help of the sheriff and a few other allies, including a former flame, Frank is able to overcome his inner demons and seek redemption for his violent past.

The movie is known for its intense action sequences, gripping story, and nuanced portrayal of the complex character of Frank Talby, as he grapples with his guilt and his desire for justice. It was released in 1965 and starred Craig Hill as Frank Talby, as well as several other iconic Western actors such as Piero Lulli and Gloria Milland.
