Hands Across the Rockies is a Western film that was released in 1941. The movie stars Bill Elliott as Wild Bill Hickock and Dub Taylor as Cannonball. It was directed by Lambert Hillyer and produced by Charles E. Ford.
The story begins with Wild Bill and Cannonball helping a young couple, Mary Daily and Stanley Brown. Mary's father has been killed by rustlers, and she needs Wild Bill and Cannonball's help to get her father's cattle back.
As Wild Bill and Cannonball help the young couple, they end up crossing paths with the murderer of Cannonball's father, a notorious outlaw named Ace Barlow. The two men team up to bring Barlow to justice and avenge Cannonball's father.
Along the way, Wild Bill and Cannonball face many obstacles, including shootouts with Barlow's gang and treacherous terrain. But with their courage and determination, they overcome these obstacles and ultimately succeed in their mission.
As the movie comes to a close, Wild Bill and Cannonball say goodbye to Mary and Stanley, who have fallen in love and plan to get married. The two men ride off into the sunset, ready for their next adventure.
