Hammer is a 2019 thriller film that follows the story of a middle-aged father, Chris Davis (played by Mark O'Brien) who lives a quiet life with his wife and daughter in rural Maine. He works as a carpenter and spends his free time fishing and hunting. One day, his world is turned upside down when his estranged son, Danny (played by Will Patton), shows up at his doorstep, injured and on the run from drug dealers.
Danny has gotten himself into serious trouble with a drug deal gone wrong, and Chris is faced with the difficult choice of whether to help his son or turn him over to the authorities.
