From Scandals to Redemption: Russell's Last Shot

Comedy  United States of America

Hamburger: The Motion Picture is a 1986 comedy film directed by Mike Marvin. The film follows Russell Procope (Leigh McCloskey), a student who has been expelled from multiple schools due to his lewd behavior. His disappointed parents send him to Busterburger University, a school that teaches students the art of running fast-food restaurants.

At the university, Russell quickly becomes friends with some of his quirky classmates, including Dirk Delta (Randall "Tex" Cobb) and "Mad Cow" Gibson (Dick Butkus). However, Russell's inappropriate behavior continues to land him in trouble with the school's strict dean, Mr. Hardbutt (Chuck McCann).

As part of their coursework, the students are tasked with running a successful Busterburger franchise. Russell and his friends team up to create a unique marketing campaign, which includes a burger-eating competition and an ad featuring a scantily-clad woman. Their efforts pay off, and they are selected to run the flagship Busterburger restaurant in Los Angeles.

However, their success is short-lived when their restaurant is sabotaged by a rival fast-food chain. The students band together to save their restaurant and their academic careers.

Hamburger: The Motion Picture received mixed reviews upon its release and has since become a cult classic. It is known for its raunchy humor, over-the-top characters, and satirical take on the fast-food industry.
