Marnie is a typical teenager who feels out of place in her town's Halloween celebrations. However, everything changes when her grandmother, Aggie Cromwell, arrives for her birthday. Aggie is a witch and reveals to Marnie that she and her siblings also have magical abilities.
Aggie takes Marnie to Halloweentown, a place built for magical creatures to live and be themselves without fear of persecution. Marnie and her siblings, Dylan and Sophie, set out to learn about their powers and the history of Halloweentown. Along the way, they discover that the town is in danger, and a dark force is trying to take over.
With the help of her new friends, Marnie sets out to stop the evil warlock from unleashing a curse that will destroy Halloweentown. Throughout their adventure, they face many challenges and learn that working together is the key to defeating evil.
In the end, Marnie and her family save Halloweentown and return home just in time to celebrate Halloween in their own town with a newfound appreciation for the holiday and all things magical.
