Hall Pass is a 2011 comedy film directed by the Farrelly brothers and starring Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis as best friends Rick and Fred. The movie follows the two men as they struggle with the monotony of their marriages and reminisce about their wild single days.

After a disastrous attempt at picking up women at a local bar, Rick and Fred's wives, Maggie and Grace (played by Jenna Fischer and Christina Applegate), decide to give the guys a "hall pass" - a week off from their marital obligations to have some fun and explore their single man fantasies.

At first, Rick and Fred are thrilled with their newfound freedom and embark on a series of misadventures, from hitting on women at coffee shops to trying their luck at a club. However, as the week progresses, they begin to realize that the grass isn't always greener on the other side and that their expectations of the single life were way off base.

Meanwhile, Maggie and Grace begin to enjoy their own freedoms, flirting with men and even going on dates. As Rick and Fred's antics become more and more desperate, the two couples must decide whether their marriages are worth fighting for or if it's time to move on.

Along the way, Hall Pass features a number of hilarious supporting performances, including Stephen Merchant as a desperate British man on the prowl and Richard Jenkins as a quirky bartender dispensing sage advice.

Overall, Hall Pass is a raunchy, but ultimately sweet comedy about the ups and downs of marriage and the importance of communication and commitment.
