In Half Past Dead 2, Twitch, played by Kurupt, is a long-time inmate who is transferred to a maximum-security prison that is tougher than Alcatraz. He claims that he wants to be closer to his girlfriend, but his real intentions are more significant.
However, soon after arriving at the prison, Twitch crosses paths with Burke, played by Bill Goldberg, a massive and powerful prisoner who knows how to defend himself. Despite not being as muscular as Burke, Twitch is just as mouthy and quick-witted, which makes him a valuable ally in the prison.
The tension between the black and Hispanic inmates in the prison reaches boiling point when the leader of the black gang, whom Burke is suspected of murdering, is shot and killed. The finger is immediately pointed at Burke, and the prison erupts into a violent and bloody gang war.
Things take a turn for the worse when the real killer and leader of the Hispanic gang, Cortez, played by Robert Madrid takes Twitch's girlfriend and Burke's daughter hostage. Now, Twitch and Burke must put their differences aside and work together to rescue their loved ones and bring an end to the gang war that has engulfed the prison.
As they navigate the complex and dangerous world of inmate politics, Twitch and Burke face an uphill battle, trying to keep themselves and their loved ones alive. With their lives on the line, they must use all their wits, skills, and strength to come out on top and survive Half Past Dead 2.
