Hailey Dean (played by Kellie Martin) is a former prosecutor turned therapist who is emotionally ready to confront her fiancé's 15-year-old murder. However, she finds herself caught up in a new case involving a missing college coed named Jordan (played by Caitlyn Stryker). As she delves deeper into Jordan's disappearance, Hailey becomes convinced that the two cases are related.
Hailey uses her knowledge of the law and her background as a prosecutor to investigate the case, while also seeking support from her friends and colleagues, including her ex-boyfriend Detective Danny Morgan (played by Chad Lowe).
As she uncovers more and more evidence, Hailey begins to suspect that Jordan was not the only victim of the killer. She also learns that the killer may be someone she knows personally, leading to a race against time to stop them before they strike again.
Along the way, Hailey also navigates her own personal life, including her fiancé's murder, her complicated relationship with Danny, and unexpected developments in her career as a therapist.
The movie is the third installment in the Hailey Dean Mystery series, based on the books by Nancy Grace.
