The movie Guyver: Dark Hero picks up one year after the events of the first movie. Sean Barker (now played by David Hayter) is still in possession of the Guyver unit, a powerful weaponized suit created by an alien race known as the Creators. Sean has been using the suit to fight against evil and protect the innocent since he destroyed the Kronos Corporation.

However, Sean is haunted by his past experiences and even questions the morality of the Guyver unit itself. He has nightmares about the destruction he has caused and feels like the unit forces him to kill even when it may not be necessary. While on a mission to dismantle a gang of criminals, Sean encounters another human who is also in possession of a Guyver unit. They join forces, but Sean quickly realizes that the other Guyver is not the ally he thought he was.

As Sean investigates the other Guyver's mysterious past, he uncovers a sinister plot by an organization called the Chronos Corporation. The Chronos Corporation has been using alien technology to create biological weapons and they want the Guyver unit for themselves. Sean must fight his most difficult battle yet as he faces off against the corporation and their genetically engineered monsters.

The movie is full of action, fight scenes, and CGI effects. David Hayter gives a solid performance as Sean Barker and the supporting cast helps to bring the story to life. The movie does not shy away from the darker themes of guilt, identity, and the effects of violence. Overall, Guyver: Dark Hero is a worthy follow-up to the original film and has become a cult classic for fans of the genre.
