Gutterballs is a 2008 Canadian horror film, directed by Ryan Nicholson. The movie takes place in a bowling alley, where two rival bowling teams meet to compete in a midnight bowling tournament. The tournament is promoted by the sleazy manager of the alley, who has a history of exploiting the young female employees of the alley.
Things take a dark turn when one of the girls is brutally gang-raped by members of the opposing team. The assault is captured on video by one of the team members, who threatens to release it unless the victim keeps quiet. Traumatized and humiliated, the girl leaves the alley, vowing to seek revenge.
Soon afterward, the masked killer begins stalking and murdering the members of both teams, in increasingly gruesome and sadistic ways. One by one, the players are picked off, until the alley becomes a blood-soaked killing field.
As the body count rises, tensions between the survivors escalate. Suspicions mount, accusations fly, and alliances are forged and broken. Anyone could be the killer: a vengeful victim, a jealous lover, a sadistic team member, or even one of the employees of the alley.
The climax of the movie features a showdown between the killer and the remaining survivors, as they try to uncover the identity of the killer and escape the alley alive. The final scene is a shocking twist that leaves the audience questioning everything they have seen.
