Grown Ups is a 2010 American comedy film directed by Dennis Dugan and starring Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, and Rob Schneider. The film revolves around a group of five former high school basketball teammates who reunite after 30 years for a Fourth of July weekend to honor their beloved coach, who has passed away.

The five friends are Lenny (Sandler), Eric (James), Kurt (Rock), Marcus (Spade), and Rob (Schneider), who all lead different lives and are at different stages in their lives. Lenny is a Hollywood talent agent who is married to Roxanne (Salma Hayek), and they have two young children. Eric is a family man who has recently been promoted to a management position at a local furniture store. Kurt is a stay-at-home dad who is married to Deanne (Maya Rudolph) and has two young children. Marcus is a single guy who still lives with his mother and spends his free time working on his car. Rob is a wealthy divorcee who has a much younger girlfriend.

The friends spend the weekend together at the lake house where they used to party during their high school days. They engage in various activities, including playing basketball, swimming, and revealing embarrassing secrets from their pasts. Throughout the weekend, they are constantly reminded of their age and their responsibilities as adults, but they also rediscover the importance of their long-lasting friendship.

The film received mixed reviews from critics but was a box office success grossing over $271 million worldwide. It was followed by a sequel, Grown Ups 2, which was released in 2013.
