In Green Lantern: First Flight, Hal Jordan is a skilled test pilot who is chosen by a dying alien to become a member of the Green Lantern Corps, an intergalactic police force tasked with protecting the universe from threats. Hal is given a power ring that allows him to create objects and manipulate energy, and he is trained by fellow Green Lanterns like Sinestro and Kilowog.
As Hal begins to understand his powers and responsibilities as a Green Lantern, he is sent on a mission to apprehend a dangerous criminal named Atrocitus. Along the way, he discovers a conspiracy among his fellow Lanterns and must decide who he can trust in order to succeed in his mission.
The film explores themes of power, responsibility, and the consequences of one's actions. It also features action-packed battle sequences and stunning visuals of the Green Lantern Corps' various home planets and alien species.
